Senate Passed The Violence Against Women Act by 68-31.

Guess who those 31 nays were? If you said Republican White Males.. Give yourself a prize cause you just won!

*game show music plays*

In case you're just tuning into all this, the Violence Against Women Act was a very wildly debated bill this year because it included rights to protect LGBT, native Americans and "illegal" immigrants.

Anyhow, on to the main event. While I'm not one to shame people for something, this deserves shaming., Here's a list of the 31 assholes who decided to say nay to being helpful. But hey, press play before you scroll down and click on the list of names. The music will help with the theme.

Shocking that even Vice President Rubio, Mr. "Let's be nicer to immigrants", voted no to the son-bitch.

Lets give em a hand, y'all!

SENATE PASSES VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT | The Senate just passed the third reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act. Though Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) were attempting to water down the bill through amendments, they ultimately failed and the bill passed in its original form. The politicization of domestic violence isn’t over yet, though– the bill now moves onto the House of Representatives, where it’s already been emotionally debated. Republicans have already said that they will try to mirror the watered down language of the Senate amendment that did not pass.

So I'll say again, certainly there's no GOP war on women, none what-so-ever. Need I remind you that it's 2012 and the US still treats native Americans with less respect than it does towards dirt. Because, you know, committing genocide wasn't enough of a fuck you.
